Hello my lovelies!
Wow, what a busy day I've had again. Why is it that people make Monday the day to sort everything out? We've taken over 200 calls at work today- booking in for services, asking what that light on the dash means and finding out when the warranty runs out- I'm exhausted!
We've had a gearbox blow up and a bump involving a tech and a salesman! It's never dull in the dealership!
I'm now kicked back with a full tum, a glass of wine and a card to show you:
I've used a new hedgie stamp from Penny Black, stamped three times (well 6 actually) coloured with Promarkers and layered with silicone glue. The papers are from Forever Friends which I've hand stitched onto green core-dinations and pearl cardstock. The sentiment was made with peel off letters coloured black and the pearls were in my stash. I've just realised I've not used any ribbon or flowers! I must be tired.
You may be wondering about today's title "the hedgehog can never be buggered at all" - This is because over at Cupcake Craft Challenges they have a challenge entitled The Sound of Music and this is a song by Terry Pratchett on The Discworld. I love the films, but struggle to get on with the books. These little hedgies look like they can't be buggered- unlike me lol!
I'd also like to enter this into

That's all from me for now, see you soon

Birthday Barry
Hello everyone!
What a beautiful day! It's been lovely here, I've had the windows open, the washing on the line and the sun in my eyes while I try to craft! I really need to get a blind for my craft room. The boys came over again to watch the Grand Prix, giving me the perfect excuse to stay out of the way.
A couple of weeks ago I won a $10 voucher to spend at Stamp Fairy, it took me 2/3 days to choose the stamps I wanted as there are so many gorgeous designs! I had a play with one of the stamps today:
I've used Birthday Barry and coloured him with Promarkers. The papers were freebies with a magazine and I've hand stitched them to blue core-dinations card. The sentiment is LOTV. The pins which I managed to stab myself with several times were from The Ribbon Girl, ribbon and pearls from my stash and the flowers came in a candy I won from Mandy at Crafty Fox Cards
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
A Gem of a Challenge - Sketch
Passion for Promarkers - Animals
Crafty Ribbons - Birthday
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Sweet Stampin - Anything Goes
I'm off to have some tea and watch a film. Back to work tomorrow.
Take care

Welcome to the world Isla and a cycling hedgehog!
Good Evening my loves
I've not had chance to get into my craft room for the last couple of days because my best friend Davina had her first baby- a gorgeous little girl called Isla! Me and OH visited her in hospital first as she had some complications after the birth (Davina not Isla) and today we saw her at home. This is me getting my first cuddle at the hospital:

She's so beautiful and perfect and has made me completely broody!
So on to today's card:
I used one of the new Penny Black stamps and coloured it with Promarkers. The papers are from Forever Friends and I've distressed all the edges. The punches are from x-cut and woodware, the ribbon and gems are Papermania.

Welcome Little One
Morning my loves
An early post from me today, as I wont be home until late tonight. I was a little weary of leaving the bedroom this morning, as yesterday when I went into the bathroom I set the house alarm off! The worrying thing is- we didn't set it! It turns out we'd had a power cut during the night and it had reset the alarm. It wasn't quite what I was expecting to hear at 5:45am (or the neighbours for that matter!)
Last night I promised to show you a new baby card for my besties new little one. Here it is:
The image is called "In a nutshell" and its by Penny Black. I've coloured it with Promarkers and layered with silicone glue. The papers are Echo Park and some freebies from a magazine which I've hand stitched onto pink pearl cardstock. I've used my new favourite memory box die again and pink organza ribbon from my stash. The sentiment was computer generated.
I'm entering this into the following challenges today:
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - This, That & the other
I Love Promarkers - Anything Goes

Birthday Owl
Morning my lovelies!
What a horrible day! I'm so glad I got all the laundry done yesterday or I'd have it hanging all over the house today. We've got my boys coming over today to watch the first Formula 1 GP together, so I'm going to hole up in my craft room for the afternoon- so long as they have a supply of beer and crisps they should be able to manage without me!
The dreary weather seems to have inspired me to make a sunny and bright card:

Fitness and Flowers
Afternoon my lovely peeps
Wow, what a week. I'm so glad its the weekend! Not looking forward to Monday at all- I really need to change my job. I'm a bit miffed that everyone seems to be commenting on having lovely weather? It's quite cold here, and the sun keeps coming and going. I had real difficulty photographing this card:
Stepmum asked me to make a bookatrix for her fitness class instructor, with a 'fitness' theme in mind! Boy did I struggle with this! The image has come from CraftsUPrint, which was fine, until I found that you have to spend £4.99 with them before you can check out. The cheek! I only wanted one image. So I have bought a couple of other bits that I might have a go at. The card is Stardream which is wonderful for making these cards. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I'd like to enter this into the Get in Shape challenge at Wild Orchid Challenge
I'm feeling a headache coming on (probably a fitness theme induced headache!) so I'm off for a laze on the sofa.
See you later

Shabby Hedgie
Hello blog friends
Just a quickie post from me as I've just got in and I'm exhausted!
Here is today's card:
I've used one of the new Penny Black stamps and coloured it with Promarkers. The papers are from three different Papermania pads, but were all scraps from my box (slowly getting down them!) I've distressed all the edges with Mr Holtz fabby tool. The ribbon was tied around a pack of Anitas card blanks, so I've done some recycling. Flowers are an x-cut punch and the sentiment is LOTV.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Sketch
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - The Young Ones
A Gem of a Challenge - Perfect Pastels
Allsorts Challenge - Say it with Flowers
Sweet Stampin - Lots of Layers
I'm going for a well earned glass of wine.
See you soon

Pink Pussycats
Evening my lovelies
Another busy week has started, but at least the worst day is over! I've only just got through the door and my dinner is going to take 40 mins to cook and I'm starving! I need to hire someone to come and cook my meals so that they're ready for when I get in lol!
Here is the card I have to show you today, and it's another Mother's Day. Not sure if this will go to my mum or OH's as they both love cats:
The image is by Penny Black, I've coloured it with Promarkers, then layered it with silicone glue. The papers were from my scraps box and I've stitched them onto pink Core'dinations card. The lace and flowers are from WOC and the ribbon was in my stash.
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Say it with flowers
Evening fellow blogateers!
Wow, I can't believe it's Sunday night already. I was at work yesterday, and was so knackered when I got home I just spent the rest of the day on the sofa. Made up for it today though- Me and OH "borrowed" Dexter and Morgan from my bessie mate who is now 39 weeks pregnant and fit to burst. We took the doggies on a 2hr walk by the local canal, river and nature reserve. We had a fab time and just can't wait to get our own dogs when we buy our first house.
I then spent the rest of this afternoon watching Crufts live on youtube while making cards- bliss!
This is the card I have to show you this evening:
I have three cards to make every Mother's Day and as it's next week I thought I'd better get on with them. The image is from Dandelion and Daisy and I've coloured it with Promarkers. I bought a distressing tool this week- so I've distressed the edges of these Papermania papers from my scraps box. The flowers are from WOC and the ribbon was in my stash. The sentiment is computer generated.
You can see on this close-up that I glittered the flowers with Glitz-it glitter glue.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Enjoy the little things
Good evening my lovelies
I'm sorry, I've been a little AWOL with my crafting this week. Things have been really busy again and I didn't get much made last weekend either. Me and OH spent a lovely day out together yesterday, we borrowed a dog each from our friends and went to the local country park. OH is desperate for his own dog, but until we buy our own house, we have to make do with borrowing other peoples! We dropped the dogs off again and had a cup of tea with my bestie, chatting about not being able to afford to go to Crufts this year :(
Later that evening she called me with some exciting news- her mum has won two tickets and can't go! Bestie is 38 weeks preggers and daren't go, so the tickets are ours! Roll on next weekend :)
Anyway, you came here to look at cards, and this is one I made today:
The image is a new stamp by Penny Black, which I've coloured with Promarkers. The papers were scraps from my box (hurrah!) and are Forever Friends. I bought the gorgeous Memory Box Cherish border die on payday and I love it, expect to see it on a regular basis. The flowers are from Wild Orchid.
I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
Passion for Promarkers - Pastel Colours
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch
Divas by design - Spots and/or Stripes
Cute Card Thursday - Signs of Spring
Sweet Stampin - Nature, bugs & bees
A Gem of a Challenge - Perfect Pastels
Penny Black @ Allsorts - Springtime
Joanna Sheen - Spring/ Easter
Phew- that should help me catch up a bit, I'll be back tomorrow with another one.
Take care
