Morning everyone
What is it about House Buying that makes it so stressful? We're first time buyers, buying a brand new house that's not even built yet- there no chain and yet the whole process is starting to cause a problem.
Two weeks ago we reserved this house and were put in touch with the Mortgage Company who will sort out the buying process. Since then we have been passed over to three different advisor's! The first guy only works in the call centre- so needed to pass us on to an advisor. The second guy was great- until we found out he was only covering for someone else who was on holiday. The third guy is the guy who was on holiday! He called on Tues to say he'd taken over and we should have news by Friday- guess what- No News, No answer on the phone and no reply to our voicemail! Our solicitor is standing buy with their hands out waiting for a cheque for over £300 to start the searches, but we don't want to hand over any more money until we hear about the mortgage. The pressure is coming from the builder who want us to exchange contracts at the end of April! Arrrgh! Luckily this house is a decent size, because I don't think we'll be moving ever again!
As yesterday was my Saturday off, I've been able to find some 'me' time and made a card:
Ingredients Used:
Image: Stamp Fairy - Molly throughout the year October
Colouring Medium: Promarkers
Cardstock: Bazzil
Papers: My Minds Eye - Beautiful Life
Sentiment: Computer generated
Ribbon: Anitas
Punches/Dies: Woodware, X-cut & Nesties
Charm & Pearls from stash
This is a new colour combo for me, and was inspired by this lovely paper pad. The post below hosts the same pad but is totally different colour-wise! I love how versatile it is.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - April Showers bring Spring Flowers
Divas by Design - Charmed I'm sure
Cute Card Thursday - Spring Flowers
Allsorts Challenge - Buttons & Threads
Sweet Stampin - Girly, but no pink
A Gem of a Challenge - Sketch
I have a lazy Sunday planned now, I'm going to throw on some joggers and chill out!
I'll catch up with you all later
