Just a quickie post from me as I've just got in and I'm exhausted!


Here is today's card:

I've used one of the new Penny Black stamps and coloured it with Promarkers. The papers are from three different Papermania pads, but were all scraps from my box (slowly getting down them!) I've distressed all the edges with Mr Holtz fabby tool. The ribbon was tied around a pack of Anitas card blanks, so I've done some recycling. Flowers are an x-cut punch and the sentiment is LOTV.

Pink Pussycats

Evening my lovelies 


Another busy week has started, but at least the worst day is over! I've only just got through the door and my dinner is going to take 40 mins to cook and I'm starving! I need to hire someone to come and cook my meals so that they're ready for when I get in lol!


Here is the card I have to show you today, and it's another Mother's Day. Not sure if this will go to my mum or OH's as they both love cats:

The image is by Penny Black, I've coloured it with Promarkers, then layered it with silicone glue. The papers were from my scraps box and I've stitched them onto pink Core'dinations card. The lace and flowers are from WOC and the ribbon was in my stash.

Evening fellow blogateers!


Wow, I can't believe it's Sunday night already. I was at work yesterday, and was so knackered when I got home I just spent the rest of the day on the sofa. Made up for it today though- Me and OH "borrowed" Dexter and Morgan from my bessie mate who is now 39 weeks pregnant and fit to burst. We took the doggies on a 2hr walk by the local canal, river and nature reserve. We had a fab time and just can't wait to get our own dogs when we buy our first house.


I then spent the rest of this afternoon watching Crufts live on youtube while making cards- bliss!


This is the card I have to show you this evening:

I have three cards to make every Mother's Day and as it's next week I thought I'd better get on with them. The image is from Dandelion and Daisy and I've coloured it with Promarkers. I bought a distressing tool this week- so I've distressed the edges of these Papermania papers from my scraps box. The flowers are from WOC and the ribbon was in my stash. The sentiment is computer generated.

 You can see on this close-up that I glittered the flowers with Glitz-it glitter glue.

Toot the Flute!

Evening again!


Just a quick one from me this evening as I've only just got in! Had an awful day at work, everything that could go wrong did go wrong! Tomorrow can't be any worse, so that's something to look forward too :)

The image is by Penny Black and I've coloured it with Promarkers. The papers are Papermania and Forever Friends. I made the roses with scraps of pearlescent cards cut into spirals and rolled up. The border punch is Martha Stewart and ribbon from my stash.

Lilac Lovely

Another quickie post from me, as I made this card for some challenges that are ending!

The image is a fabby Kenny K digi that I've coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Papermania's Henbury Lane and I've hand stitched them with white cotton thread. The sentiment is LOTV, flowers from WOC and I told you you'd be seeing the Memory Box Cherish die again as I love it and couldn't resist!

Happy Mondays

Good Evening


These Mondays just keep on coming don't they?! Had a rubbish day today, I think a frog has taken up residence in my throat. I can't stop coughing or trying to clear it! I'm glad to be home and have the dinner on, so just a quick post from me.

The super cute and gorgeous image is called 'Hand me downs' by the very talented Krista Smith aka Saturated Canary and I've coloured her with Promarkers. The papers are from My Minds Eye and I've hand stitched, yes HAND STITCHED them as I don't yet own a sewing machine! Its on my birthday wish list, but my birthday isn't until June.... The sentiment and ribbon are Papermania and the pearls were from my stash.

Enjoy the little things

Good evening my lovelies


I'm sorry, I've been a little AWOL with my crafting this week. Things have been really busy again and I didn't get much made last weekend either. Me and OH spent a lovely day out together yesterday, we borrowed a dog each from our friends and went to the local country park. OH is desperate for his own dog, but until we buy our own house, we have to make do with borrowing other peoples! We dropped the dogs off again and had a cup of tea with my bestie, chatting about not being able to afford to go to Crufts this year :( 
Later that evening she called me with some exciting news- her mum has won two tickets and can't go! Bestie is 38 weeks preggers and daren't go, so the tickets are ours! Roll on next weekend :)


Anyway, you came here to look at cards, and this is one I made today:

The image is a new stamp by Penny Black, which I've coloured with Promarkers. The papers were scraps from my box (hurrah!) and are Forever Friends. I bought the gorgeous Memory Box Cherish border die on payday and I love it, expect to see it on a regular basis. The flowers are from Wild Orchid.
