Morning my lovelies
I see the weather is back to normal again this morning, I did wonder what that bright yellow ball in the sky was yesterday, it's been so long since we've seen it!
Happy May Day! I can't believe it's May already, it's nearly summer?! This year is totally flying by.
A couple of weeks ago I won the challenge over at I Love Promarkers, and my prize was a voucher to spend at Di's Digi Downloads. I was spoilt for choice over the huge collection of cute stamps, but finally managed to narrow down my choices. As soon as they landed in my inbox I printed them off and got playing straight away!
This stamp caught my eye as I knew it would be perfect for a New Home card, which is very much at the forefront of my mind at the moment!
Ingredients Used:
Image: Di's Digi Downloads - Home Tweet Home
Colouring Medium: Promarkers & white gel pen
Papers: Various Papermania scraps
Sentiment: Lili of the Valley
Dies/Punches: Nestabilities & Woodware

Flowers: Wild Ordchid Crafts
Button, Pearls and Ribbon from stash
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

My Mums Craft Shop - The Great Outdoors
Cute Card Thursday - Animal Magic

Janessa Fairy
Morning my lovelies
Monday again and back to work! Not that I'm ready for it, I'm shattered and seem to be struggling to get moving.
They've forecast us some sunshine in the Midlands today! Not that I'll get to experience any of it, what with being stuck indoors all day.
I've been playing with another Hannah Lynn digi, I love them and already need to get some more! Even the OH likes them, though that could be because the fairies are quite scantily dressed!
I made this card yesterday, I was probably dreaming of the sun!
Ingredients Used:
Image: Hannah Lynn - Janessa
Colouring Medium: Promarkers
Papers: Various Papermania scraps
Cardstock: Core-dinations
Die: Memory Box
Ribbon & Bow: Papermania
Flowers: Wild Orchid
Feathers, gems and pins from stash
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Passion for Promarkers - Cut it out
Simon says Stamp - Anything Goes
Divas by Design - Buttons &/or Bows
Totally Papercrafts - Saturated Colours
Crafty Ribbons - Yellow, Pink & Orange
Joanna Sheen - Flower Power
Dream Valley - For a Special Lady
Ok, thats me, I'm off to work!

Moonglow Fairy
Afternoon my lovelies
Is this rain ever going to end? I'm sick of having washing hanging all over the house and radiators!!
I bought a couple of new images to play with yesterday. The first time I saw them I was sure I'd never be able to do the hair justice, but it was actually much easier than it looks due to the layers being drawn in by the artist. This one kept me busy until nearly 10 o'clock last night, which is unusual for me because as soon as it gets dark outside I start to struggle to concentrate!
Anyway- Here is my card:
Ingredients Used:
Image: Hannah Lynn Digi- Moonglow
Colouring Medium: Promarkers
Papers: MME - Beautiful Life
Sentiment: Computer Generated
Die: Memory Box
Ribbon, Flowers & Gem from stash
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Truly Scrumptious - Distressing & Die cuts/Punches
Passion for Promarkers - Cut it Out
Cupcake Craft Challenges - Material Girl (felt flower)
Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Great Sketch!
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Divas By Design - Buttons and/or Bows
Totally Papercrafts - Saturated Colours
Crafty Catz - Anything Goes
Dream Valley - For a Special Lady
Do You Stack Up - Case the DT
Right, I'm off to make dinner, put some more washing on and have another play!!
See you soon

Deck the Halls
Evening my little blog dwellers!
Almost halfway through the week already, it's been a bit crappy so far. I can't seem to sell anything, I even asked my boss if there was something wrong with my face!
We had a delivery today from Vauxhall, as they are sponsoring Home Nations Football, they have sent us a bag full of England car flags, so our Vectra came home tonight looking like a proper chav mobile!!
Anyway, on to my card, and I can't say why, but after my last card I was inspired to make another Christmas Card!!
Ingredients Used:
Stamp: Lil of the Valley- James the Bear "Deck the Halls"
Colouring Medium: Promarkers
Papers: Me to You
Cardstock: Glitter-ations
Punches/Dies: Nellie Snellen & Marianne Createables
Ribbon: Papermania
Gems from Stash
Silver glitter cardstock
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday - Sketch
Lil's Little Fairies - Diamonds & Pearls
Passion for Promarkers - Cut it out
Stampin for the Weekend - Sparkle & Shine
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge - Lots of Layers (the bear is decoupaged and 2 paper layers)
Pile it on - Sparkle & Shine
That's it from me for today, I need my beauty sleep if my customers are anything to go by!

Sitting Pretty
Evening My Loves
I've had a proper busy day today! I was at work this morning, I've been cleaning this afternoon and I even managed to fit in making a card. The weather has been very strange, we've had bright sunshine, followed by heavy downpours, followed by scorching sun again!
I'm being driven slightly mad by our Mortgage advisor at the moment. We're still waiting for the Mortgage offer, he keeps telling us 'we'll know by Friday' but two of those Friday's have now passed and we still don't have the offer! I really hope I'll be able to look back on this in a few months and laugh.
Anyway, here is the card I have to show for today's efforts:
Ingredients Used:
Image: Pink Gem Polymer Stamp- Sitting Chloe
Colouring Medium: Promarkers
Sentiment: Computer Generated
Papers: 3 Different Papermania pads
Cardstock: Core-dinations
Lace & Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts
Pearls from stash
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Passion for Promarkers - Pink, Pearls & Lace
Simon Says Stamp - Dawny's Sketch
Wild Orchid Challenge - Spring is in the air
I think a glass of wine is in order, The Voice and then bed :)

Orange Angel
Morning everyone
What is it about House Buying that makes it so stressful? We're first time buyers, buying a brand new house that's not even built yet- there no chain and yet the whole process is starting to cause a problem.
Two weeks ago we reserved this house and were put in touch with the Mortgage Company who will sort out the buying process. Since then we have been passed over to three different advisor's! The first guy only works in the call centre- so needed to pass us on to an advisor. The second guy was great- until we found out he was only covering for someone else who was on holiday. The third guy is the guy who was on holiday! He called on Tues to say he'd taken over and we should have news by Friday- guess what- No News, No answer on the phone and no reply to our voicemail! Our solicitor is standing buy with their hands out waiting for a cheque for over £300 to start the searches, but we don't want to hand over any more money until we hear about the mortgage. The pressure is coming from the builder who want us to exchange contracts at the end of April! Arrrgh! Luckily this house is a decent size, because I don't think we'll be moving ever again!
As yesterday was my Saturday off, I've been able to find some 'me' time and made a card:
Ingredients Used:
Image: Stamp Fairy - Molly throughout the year October
Colouring Medium: Promarkers
Cardstock: Bazzil
Papers: My Minds Eye - Beautiful Life
Sentiment: Computer generated
Ribbon: Anitas
Punches/Dies: Woodware, X-cut & Nesties
Charm & Pearls from stash
This is a new colour combo for me, and was inspired by this lovely paper pad. The post below hosts the same pad but is totally different colour-wise! I love how versatile it is.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - April Showers bring Spring Flowers
Divas by Design - Charmed I'm sure
Cute Card Thursday - Spring Flowers
Allsorts Challenge - Buttons & Threads
Sweet Stampin - Girly, but no pink
A Gem of a Challenge - Sketch
I have a lazy Sunday planned now, I'm going to throw on some joggers and chill out!
I'll catch up with you all later

Missing You
Morning everyone!
You know the best thing about working Good Friday??? I get to have today off instead! A nice peaceful day off alone in my craft room ~bliss~
I've blasted around with the hoover, hung the washing out and instructed our solicitor to start the conveyancing procedure on our new house. It's amazing how much I can get done in so little time when OH has gone to work!
Today's card is another one my dad requested. His Auntie who lives in Australia has been over here in the UK visiting family for the last couple of months and is due to go back in the next week or so. Dad is going to her going-away party at the weekend and needs a card.
So here it is:
This stamp is fast becoming over-used! This is the third time I've used it this year! I knew I wanted to go with the theme "Missing You" and it seemed to be the most appropriate stamp I have. (That must mean I need more stamps -yes?)
Ingredients used:
Stamp- Penny Black "Squeeze 'til I Squeak"
Cardstock- Papermania
Colouring Medium- Promarkers
Papers- Echo Park Springtime
Sentiment- Computer Generated
Ribbon- Anitas
Punches & Dies- X-cut, Woodware, Nellie Snellen & Marianne Creatables
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Cupcake Craft Challenges - 187 Spring is in the air
Penny Black @ Allsorts - April Challenge- Oh So Cute
I Love Promarkers - 111 Springtime
Simon Says Stamp - Use your favourite tool- Bigshot
Sweet Sketch Wednesday - 148 Sketch
Dream Valley Challenge - 29 Wedding/Love (Love)
See you again soon

Cottage Garden
Afternoon!
Don't you just love Bank Holiday Mondays? Guaranteed rain! To be honest though I'm not bothered as everything I have planned for today involves me being indoors.
Me and OH have started de-cluttering ready for the move. I can't wait to have some wardrobe space again!
Dad called last night and asked me to make a couple of cards for him by the weekend, and this is one of them:
The image came free in a gift pack from Create and Craft. The papers are papermania. The sentiment is computer generated. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I've given them a coat of stickles. I've used my new Memory Box corner die and my Martha Stewart doily lace punch. Pearls, ribbon and pins were in my stash.
Due to the thickness of the card, I decided to make it a box instead of trying to cram it into an envelope:
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Wild Orchid Challenge - Things with wings
Totally Papercrafts - Bingo- Blue, ribbon & pearls
Divas by Design - Anything Goes
Right- where are those charity bags? See you soon!

Lots of news and a card!
Afternoon everyone!
I'm sorry I've not been around for a while, but my crafting had to be put on the back burner for a little while as lots of exciting things have been happening!
First of all my brother and his wife were blessed with another baby. Lincoln Vincent was born on 3rd April at 4.08am making me an auntie for the second time. He's totally gorgeous and I just knew he was going to be a boy. OH is thrilled too as now he has a nephew to take to the football :)
The second piece of news is one that is going to keep me busy for the next few months and more after I would think. Me and OH have been saving our hard earned for the last 2/3 years and this month we finally had enough of a deposit to buy our own home! We will soon be the proud owners of this:
It is due to be built by the end of June and we should get the keys on OH's birthday (which will make a nice pressie for him!) For the time being I am totally immersed in the world of Mortgages, Solicitors and Conveyancing which is enough to keep anyone busy.
So on to today's card, as I finally managed to free up a few hours:
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Cupcake Craft Challenges - Sewing Box
Sketch and Stash - Sketch and new papers
Simon Says Stamp - Use your favourite tool- Bigshot!
Divas by Design - Anything Goes
Saturated Canary Challenge - Thinking of you
Totally Papercrafts - Bingo- used Pink, Glitter & Pearls
Allsorts Challenge - Colour Bingo- used Pink, Stripes & Pearls
Sweet Stampin - Dies & Doodles
I've got a couple of days off now, so hopefully will be back tomorrow with another one :)
See you soon

I've used a super cute Saturated Canary image and coloured it with Promarkers. The papers are my new My Minds Eye- A Happy Heart and I've stitched them onto peach core-dinations card with pink cotton thread. I've used a new die from Memory Box and an older one from Marianne Creatables. The sentiment and ribbon is by Papermania, the flowers are WOC and the pearls were in my stash.

"The hedgehog can never be buggered at all"
Hello my lovelies!
Wow, what a busy day I've had again. Why is it that people make Monday the day to sort everything out? We've taken over 200 calls at work today- booking in for services, asking what that light on the dash means and finding out when the warranty runs out- I'm exhausted!
We've had a gearbox blow up and a bump involving a tech and a salesman! It's never dull in the dealership!
I'm now kicked back with a full tum, a glass of wine and a card to show you:
I've used a new hedgie stamp from Penny Black, stamped three times (well 6 actually) coloured with Promarkers and layered with silicone glue. The papers are from Forever Friends which I've hand stitched onto green core-dinations and pearl cardstock. The sentiment was made with peel off letters coloured black and the pearls were in my stash. I've just realised I've not used any ribbon or flowers! I must be tired.
You may be wondering about today's title "the hedgehog can never be buggered at all" - This is because over at Cupcake Craft Challenges they have a challenge entitled The Sound of Music and this is a song by Terry Pratchett on The Discworld. I love the films, but struggle to get on with the books. These little hedgies look like they can't be buggered- unlike me lol!
I'd also like to enter this into
Sketch Saturday for the Sketch,
Penny Black Saturday Challenge for Easter Eggstravaganza,
Passion for Promarkers- Animals
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Dream Valley Challenges - Easter
Sweet Stampin - Anything Goes
That's all from me for now, see you soon

Birthday Barry
Hello everyone!
What a beautiful day! It's been lovely here, I've had the windows open, the washing on the line and the sun in my eyes while I try to craft! I really need to get a blind for my craft room. The boys came over again to watch the Grand Prix, giving me the perfect excuse to stay out of the way.
A couple of weeks ago I won a $10 voucher to spend at Stamp Fairy, it took me 2/3 days to choose the stamps I wanted as there are so many gorgeous designs! I had a play with one of the stamps today:
I've used Birthday Barry and coloured him with Promarkers. The papers were freebies with a magazine and I've hand stitched them to blue core-dinations card. The sentiment is LOTV. The pins which I managed to stab myself with several times were from The Ribbon Girl, ribbon and pearls from my stash and the flowers came in a candy I won from Mandy at Crafty Fox Cards
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
A Gem of a Challenge - Sketch
Passion for Promarkers - Animals
Crafty Ribbons - Birthday
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Sweet Stampin - Anything Goes
I'm off to have some tea and watch a film. Back to work tomorrow.
Take care

Welcome to the world Isla and a cycling hedgehog!
Good Evening my loves
I've not had chance to get into my craft room for the last couple of days because my best friend Davina had her first baby- a gorgeous little girl called Isla! Me and OH visited her in hospital first as she had some complications after the birth (Davina not Isla) and today we saw her at home. This is me getting my first cuddle at the hospital:

She's so beautiful and perfect and has made me completely broody!
